Document status and legal scope
This document describes current accessibility practices but is not yet a formal declaration by a Polish public entity or a conformity notice for a service covered by the Polish Accessibility Act. The 4 April 2019 Act requires a formal declaration from public entities. The 26 April 2024 Act covers specified economic-operator services, including e-commerce, while exempting services provided by microenterprises. The operator’s status and the applicable regime must be confirmed before production.
Target standard
The website is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the four accessibility principles: perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. This is a design target, not a claim of full conformance certified by an independent audit.
Accessibility features in the website
Shared interfaces use semantic headings and landmarks, labelled fields, keyboard operation, visible focus, text error messages, document-language metadata, a skip link, reflow without horizontal scrolling and reduced motion when requested by the user.
Assessment method
The current assessment includes automated axe checks on representative desktop and mobile pages, keyboard-navigation tests, focus, form, result and error-message checks, and horizontal-overflow checks. The build also audits page structure, metadata and internal links.
Known assessment limitations
Automated testing does not replace a complete manual audit using screen readers, magnification, voice control and participation by people with different access needs. No violation in a representative automated suite does not establish that every page and assistive-technology combination is free of barriers.
Reporting barriers and alternative access
Accessibility barriers can be reported to the operator, Akhmas Meraj, at contact@oblicznik.com. Include the page address, the barrier, the device or assistive technology used and the access method you need. The same address may be used to request information in an alternative format; no unverified response deadline is promised.
Reviews and corrective action
Accessibility is checked when shared components and representative user journeys change. A confirmed problem is prioritised by impact, receives a regression test where practical and follows the corrections policy. A full legal review and manual accessibility audit should still take place before production launch.
