Polish unused-leave compensation calculator
The unused-leave compensation calculator separates pay-basis components from the coefficient. The automatic coefficient derives from the 2026 calendar and working fraction; use a manual value only after verifying it for your circumstances. The result is gross.

Choose the automatic 2026 coefficient or an explicit manual override. Enter prepared pay-basis components. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
How to use the calculator
- Enter fixed components due in the entitlement month. Add a prepared average of variable components for periods up to one month from the preceding three months, and longer-period components from the preceding twelve months.
- For part-time work enter amounts actually due for that fraction. Do not reduce the basis again or reduce the eight-hour statutory norm merely because employment is part-time.
Calculation details
Formula and calculation method
Coefficient = (year days − Sundays − non-Sunday holidays − days off under a five-day week)/12, rounded to two decimals; then × fraction, rounded to two decimals. Compensation = (fixed + 3-month average + 12-month average) / coefficient / daily norm × unused hours.
Worked example
2026: (365 − 52 − 10 − 52)/12 = 20.92. Half-time uses 10.46. Full-time, PLN 6,000 basis, eight-hour norm and 16 unused hours gives PLN 573.61 gross.
Limitations
- The automatic model assumes an average five-day working week. The coefficient is rounded to two decimals and money only at the final result.
- Averages must already account for exclusions under § 6 and adjustments for incomplete periods under §§ 16–17. Do not indiscriminately include one-off awards, holiday pay, sick pay or other excluded benefits. This tool does not reconstruct payroll records or determine the payment deadline.
