How to use the calculator
- Find the official formula in the current admission resolution. Check exam levels and required score conversions.
- Add separate score and coefficient rows. Choose sum or average according to the formula, not the preferred result.
Calculation details
Formula and calculation method
Weighted sum = Σ(score × coefficient). Weighted average = Σ(score × coefficient) / Σcoefficients. These are different operations; at least one coefficient must be positive.
Worked example
80 × 1 + 70 × 0.5 gives a sum of 115. The weighted average is 115 / 1.5 = 76.67. The correct operation must come from the relevant admission resolution.
Limitations
- No presets, exam-level conversion, best-subject selection, thresholds, conditional multipliers or resolution verification. Nonlinear formulas and additional requirements are not supported.
- The result is not an admission decision or prediction. You must verify coefficients for the correct year yourself.
